| In the world of Resident Evil, those who are fit for combat are typically dispatched in order to handle the various problems that arise in their respective areas. STARS, naturally, dispatches soldiers out to deal with B.O.W.'s and infected populations. Umbrella sends out agents to cover up their involvement in areas, test out new B.O.W.'s, quiet those with valuable information, sabotage competitors, or eliminate STARS agents. Free-Lance agents are free to do what they please and usually undertake missions from private persons who have personal tasks they need performed involving the other two factions or their handiwork. A mission is usually a long affair, taking up a fair bit of time to complete, so they are appropriate compensated for the work put in. The leaders of factions usually provide incentive to do the mission, though they are free to offer as much or as little as they think is appropriate for a mission, though low wages will often lead to desertion. Missions typically benefit the organization that gives them out, or in the case of free-lance agents the individual. Anybody may give out a free-lance mission, though they also have to pay for it out of their own pockets. NPCs are also frequently needed for missions, and those who play NPC for a mission are provided with a reward equal to a share of the total awarded to those taking it, though this share is provided by the site and does not take out from the mission taker's payment. Particularly good roleplay on either the mission takers or the NPC's behalf will result in additional funds being provided so just because your faction may not pay out well doesn't mean you should slack off. Counter-missions can also be issued after three days, real-time, which represents the time it takes for an NPC faction spy to report this information to the opposing faction(s). They are then free to dispatch units as they see fit to counteract the current mission (creating a new mission to do so which will have favored status for quicker approval due to the importance of time), or leave it alone if they fail to find it very important. Missions must be run by the site Staff and approved before they may be issued out and follow the below template: - Code:
-
[b]Name:[/b] (Name of the mission) [b]Payout:[/b] (Payout for mission, this is divided among participants) [b]Member Limit:[/b] (Whats the limit on people who can take this mission?) [b]Location:[/b] (The location(s) of the mission) [b]Details:[/b] (What the mission entails, when, how, how long, how far, objectives, etc.)
